Guam Visitors Bureau Announces Opening of Tumon Night Market


(Tumon, Guam) — The Guam Visitor Bureau (GVB) is thrilled to announce the launch of the new Tumon Night Market, a weekly event set to transform Pleasure Island in Tumon into a bustling hub of culture, cuisine, and entertainment.  The market will officially open on Sunday, July 27, 2025, and will take place every Sunday thereafter, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  

The Tumon Night Market aims to provide an unforgettable experience for both Guam residents and visitors, offering a diverse array of local attractions and activities for all ages.

"We are incredibly excited to bring the Tumon Night Market to life," said Régine Biscoe Lee, President and CEO of the Guam Visitor Bureau. "This Sunday event will provide our residents and visitors the opportunity to experience our culture, food, music, and products together through a vibrant gathering.”  

Attendees can look forward to the following details:

Dates:  Sunday, July 27, 2025 and every Sunday thereafter.

Time:  5:00pm-9:00pm

Location:  Pleasure Island, Tumon - between the SandCastle and the Dusit Beach Resort Guam.

Local Food Vendors: A wide selection of local and international culinary delights from food trucks and vendors will be available.

Unique Pop-Up Shops: Discover handcrafted goods, souvenirs, and unique retail items and support local businesses.

Engaging CHamoru Cultural and Interactive Activities: Immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Guam and other interactive demonstrations and displays such as slingstoning, mwar mwar making, caricatures, and a petting zoo.

Live Performances: Enjoy a dynamic lineup of local talent, including traditional and contemporary music and dance performers, providing continuous entertainment throughout the evening.

Sunday Specials:  Participating businesses in the Pleasure Island area will be open for business and offer a variety of exclusive discounts and promotions.

Road Closure Details:  Pale San Vitores Road in Tumon - from the Sandcastle to the Aquarium of Guam intersection -  will be closed from 6:00am Sunday, July 27, 2025 through 6:00am Monday, July 28, 2025 as we ensure the safety of all patrons during the Tumon Night Market event.  Event security will be directing traffic within the Pleasure Island district to minimize traffic delays for incoming guests, employees, and customers within the event zone.  

Parking:  Parking is available in designated areas, which is limited.  Patrons are encouraged to utilize additional options such as trolleys and ride shares.

Admission:  Admission to the Tumon Night Market is free and open to the public.
