(Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) today began welcoming local and international artists on island for the inaugural Lotte Duty Free Guam Live International Music Festival set for Friday, June 6th and Saturday June 7th at the Paseo Stadium in Hagåtña. This two-day music festival boasts artists from the U.S., England, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, as well as select local artists, to showcase various genres of music including pop, reggae, hip-hop and rock.
“Guam is a great place to live, work and visit and the Guam Live International Music Festival showcases that fact! We are proud to welcome back our island girl Pia Mia and are excited to see her and all the other music acts perform live in paradise,” said GVB General Manager Karl Pangelinan. “We invite the entire community to come out and show some of that Guam love we are known for at the Paseo Stadium! Biba Guam!”
“Lotte Duty Free is proud to be the title sponsor of this ‘first of its kind’ inaugural music festival,” said Lotte Duty Free Guam Marketing and Promotions Director Henry Cruz. “Our investment in this event is an investment in Guam. We anticipate a very successful inaugural Guam Live and look forward to growing this event in the future for Guam’s visitors and local residents to continue to enjoy!”
The general public is also advised to anticipate possible traffic delays near the Paseo Stadium on the days of the festival. Ample parking will be available around the Paseo grounds and throughout Hagåtña.
