GVB suspends free trolley rides beginning December 13th

December 7, 2021

(December 7, 2021 – Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has announced its free trolley service for island residents and visitors in Tumon will be suspended until further notice starting December 13, 2021. The reason for the suspension has to do with low rider turnout and changes in travel restrictions in Guam’s source markets.

“While the changes and restrictions due to the Omicron COVID variant have affected us around the globe, we believe this situation to be temporary. GVB will continue to monitor and adapt to the opportunities that emerging travel restrictions allow. We are optimistic over the return of the trolley service at a more advantageous time,” said Dr. Gerry Perez, GVB Vice President.

GVB had partnered with Lam Lam tours to provide the trolley rides at seasonal periods throughout 2021. The Guahån Trolley Service is currently offered daily between GPO and Micronesia Mall with multiple stops within Tumon through December 12.
