Guam Visitors Bureau Launches Three-Way Partnership with GS25 and NAVER Pay

Collaborating with Retail and Payment Platforms to Capture Growing Travel Demand to Guam  – “Bringing Guam’s Vibe into Everyday Life”

(Seoul, South Korea) - The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has established a strategic three-way partnership with GS25 and NAVER Pay to strengthen consumer engagement and expand travel demand to Guam. GS25 is Korea’s largest convenience-store franchise with over 18,000 locations nationwide, serving as a key retail touchpoint in consumers’ daily routines. NAVER Pay, one of Korea’s most widely used digital payment platforms, provides seamless online and offline payment experiences for millions of users. By leveraging the strengths of both companies, this GVB partnership creates a powerful channel for introducing Guam to a broader audience.

As part of the collaboration, GS25 is currently offering limited-edition “Guam Collaboration Ready-to-Eat Meals.” These products reinterpret elements of Guam’s food culture with a modern touch under the concept “A Taste of Guam in One Meal,” enabling consumers to feel the island’s atmosphere in their daily routines. This nationwide promotion is being carried out simultaneously across all 18,000 GS25 locations, maximizing consumer accessibility and visibility throughout Korea.

Until November 30, a nationwide consumer promotion will run with prizes connected to travel to Guam. Customers who purchase the collaboration products at GS25 and accrue GS ALL membership points will receive digital stamps in the “Our Neighborhood GS” app. After collecting three stamps, participants will be automatically entered into a drawing for prizes, including a Guam flight-and-accommodation package, round-trip air tickets to Guam, complimentary hotel stays, and GS Pay discount coupons.  In addition, NAVER Pay users can receive cashback points when purchasing the collaboration products.

At GS25 stores inside Incheon International Airport, where a dedicated semi pop-up zone has been set up exclusively for this collaboration, the three partners are also offering discounts on a co-designed Beauty Travel Kit, allowing consumers to feel Guam’s spirit even before departure and experience the island’s warmth throughout the entire journey—from purchase and payment to travel and beyond.

GVB President and CEO Régine Biscoe Lee stated, “This collaboration represents a new model of public–private partnership, combining tourism, retail, and digital platforms to expand the value of the Guam brand.” She added, “Through continued cooperation with industries such as aviation, retail, and payment platforms, we aim to make travel to Guam more accessible and create more opportunities for consumers to experience the island in their everyday lives.”

This collaboration connects the retail, tourism, and digital payment sectors in a new integrated marketing model designed to enhance brand visibility and traveler awareness in the Korean market. As a leading example of extending destination marketing into daily consumer culture, the partnership links GS25’s nationwide retail network with NAVER Pay’s digital payment platform, allowing consumers to experience Guam’s charm and brand identity even before planning a trip. Through this initiative, Guam aims to become more than a tropical destination, evolving into a familiar lifestyle brand embedded in everyday life.
